Who we are

Daytradero is an informational crypto-market companion: it watches the public market for the preset conditions you choose and notifies you when they are met, and it helps you keep a trading journal. We are based in Hong Kong and handle personal data in line with the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (PDPO).

What we collect

• Account: your email address and authentication credentials.
• Your configuration: the alert presets, symbols, timeframes, and custom strategies you set up.
• Your journal: trades you enter manually, import by CSV, or sync from a connected exchange, plus any notes or tags.
• Discipline rules and the breach events they record, to support your own accountability.
• Accountability circles: circles you create or join, your pseudonym, and the process-only check-ins and nudges you post.
• Device push tokens, so we can deliver alerts you asked for.
• Billing: a payment-provider customer reference and subscription/entitlement status. Card details are held by Stripe (web) or Apple (in-app purchases), never by us.
• If you opt in to AI features: the inputs needed to generate each AI response (see “AI features” below).

We practice data minimization, and we do not sell your data or use it for advertising.

Exchange connections

If you connect an exchange for read-only auto-journaling, you provide a read-only API key. We reject keys that can trade or withdraw. The key is encrypted immediately on an isolated sync worker, is never stored in plain text, is never sent to our website, and is never included in your data export. You can disconnect at any time, which erases the stored key.

How we use it

To run the service you asked for: evaluating your presets against shared public market data, sending your alerts, computing your journal analytics, and managing your subscription. Market data is computed once per symbol and shared across users — we do not build per-user market feeds.

AI features

AI features (briefings, coaching, chat, and chart-vision readings) are off until you explicitly turn them on. When enabled, the data a feature needs — the symbols you watch, your indicator values, and your own journal analytics — is sent to our third-party AI provider, DeepSeek, to generate that response. We never send your email or handle. You can switch to a deterministic, no-AI mode at any time in Settings, and your AI data is included in export and deletion.

Who we share it with

Only the processors needed to operate, each receiving only what their function requires: Supabase (database, auth), our market-data engine and sync hosts, Stripe (web payments), Apple and RevenueCat (in-app purchases and receipt validation on iOS), DeepSeek (AI responses, and only if you have enabled AI features), and the Expo/Apple push services. We require each to protect your data consistent with this policy.

Tracking and advertising

We do nottrack you across other companies’ apps or websites, we do not use advertising or analytics SDKs, and we do not use the App Tracking Transparency permission. Any “analytics” in the app are your own trading-journal statistics, computed for you.

Data retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active. Your trade-history visibility window depends on your plan, but deletion is always available to you. When you delete your account the removal is immediate and cascades through every record we hold for you.

Children

Daytradero is not directed to children. You must be of legal age in your jurisdiction to use it, and in any case at least 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

Your rights

You can export all of your data or permanently delete your account and everything tied to it at any time — from your account page on the web, or from Settings in the app. Deletion is immediate and cascades through every record we hold for you. To revoke consent for AI processing, turn off AI features (or enable deterministic mode) in Settings.

Not financial advice

Daytradero is informational only. It never tells you to buy or sell, never routes orders, never holds funds, and never predicts outcomes. Alerts simply report that the conditions you chose are met.
